Rude Malaysians

Musang was amused at the Malaysian media's indignant reaction to a recent survey which found that Kuala Lumpur was the third rudest city in the world. While most malaysians accepted the survey's findings as mostly true, white expats living in the country were outraged and denounced the survey as unfair.
Musang finds this curious difference totally unsurprising as Malaysians are famously polite and friendly to white expats only.

Mid-Year 2006

Half the year has passed so quickly. Musang has been keeping a low profile and observing human society. Musang is concerned to note that despite the tough economic situation, so many Malaysians are wasting hard earned money on illegal betting on the World Cup 2006.
This illegal betting is being carried out openly in pubs throughout the country. Musang is also horrified to note that so many people even borrow money from loan sharks for the sake of a bet.
